Winged Wonders

© All photos Punkin Dunkin Productions

We visited the Portland Zoo for the first time this weekend. Besides the crowds of naughty, stinky children and the lack of active animals, we did manage to have a little fun. My favorite exhibit was the Winged Wonders, a portable tent full of butterflies from Costa Rica. It cost an extra 2 bucks to get in, but it was well worth it. Being able to get real close to the butterflies, even having them land on limbs and heads, made for great photos. The exhibit was quite small, yet every few inches, a beautiful butterfly posed for me.

In order to see some of the details, I've had to zoom in real close and sharpen the photos twice.
